Game Aerospace announced the GB2 Stormbird, the company’s purpose-built firefighting aircraft, has made its first flight. The event marks a critical step on the aircraft’s path toward certification and full production.
The flight took place at Louise Thaden Field (KVBT) in Bentonville, Arkansas. In a news release, the company said the GB2 “performed as expected and completed all planned initial evaluations.”
