Archer’s Midnight Completes First Flight On ‘No Roads’ Tour

Electric aircraft made quick work of city-to-city round trip between Salinas and Hollister, California.

Archer Aviation’s Midnight electric rotorcraft completed a round-trip flight between California’s Salinas Municipal Airport and Hollister Municipal Airport, kicking off its “No Roads” flight tour.

The eVTOL flew the two legs of the trip in a total of about 24 minutes.The San Jose, California, company said the same journey in a car can take 80 minutes or more. During the 40-mile flight, the aircraft reached speeds up to 125 mph and cruised at 3,550 feet.
