The famous de Havilland DH.88 Comet air racer known as “Grosvenor House” is well into a long repair and restoration process after sustaining damage during a landing mishap at an August airshow.

The twin-engine aircraft, renowned for its sleek shape, striking red livery, and first-place finish in the MacRobertson Trophy Air Race from RAF Mildenhall in England to Australia in 1934, nosed over while landing at Old Warden Aerodrome (EGTH) in Bedfordshire, England.
