Air, a developer of electric powered personal aircraft, unveiled the latest version of its Air One rotorcraft during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The company said the revised aircraft is designed for piloted flight testing expected to begin later this year.
The most recent Air One features upgrades aimed at improving overall performance and manufacturing efficiency, including an airframe developed with renowned engineering company EDAG Group and custom electric motors from Nidec, manufacturer of a wide range of electric motors for consumer and industrial markets.
