Piper Aviation Museum Adds Rare PA-40 to Collection

Light twin was supposed to succeed the Twin Comanche in 1975 but was canceled before production began.

Have you ever seen a Piper PA-40? Chances are good that you haven’t, because just three were built before Piper canceled the project in 1974.

From now on, though, those wishing to see the model up close can visit the Piper Aviation Museum in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
