Swift Fuels is working with fuel testing experts at the FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to test its 100R unleaded aviation fuel on seven high-performance aircraft engines.

Among the company’s goals are the addition of these powerplants to the growing list of those with FAA approval to run on the Swift fuel. Swift said the move is another step toward fleetwide approval of its unleaded fuel.
